Nilesh “Nelly” Dhumal is one of India’s pioneer off-road motorcycle trainers, based in Pune, driven by a lifelong obsession with two wheels. A versatile athlete and expert coach, he seamlessly transitioned from champion mountain biker to a revered off-road motorcycling maestro, renowned for unlocking riders’ full potential.
BMX & MTB Foundations
Nelly's obsession began with bicycles, leading to achievements like National 4X Champion - MTB, representing Maharashtra in Cross Country, and notable positions in various MTB races. His strong foundations in BMX and Mountain Biking laid the groundwork for his future.
Bicycle Industry Consultant
He served as an Athlete, Technical Advisor, Guest Bike Tester, and Race Director in the premium bicycle industry, contributing to course designs and team management for companies like Red Rooster Racing, Ti Cycles, and ProCycle.
Transition to Motorbiking
Years of hands-on mentorship facilitated a seamless transition from off-road cycling to off-road motorbiking.

Skilled in constructing ADV, Motocross, and Flat Track courses and expert at curating comprehensive, effective training programs. In his free time, he also volunteers as a trail builder for the local cycling community.
